When do I get my instrument?

  1. Once you have ordered and paid for your instrument hire through the website; MIRA staff will check and assign an instrument to your account.
    Note: School Year Rentals (Instruments hired for the 'School Year') are despatched by courier for delivery prior to the school year starting in February.
  2. Further confirmation of your identification and residing address may be required prior to the instrument(s) being released.
  3. MIRA staff will then send it to you by courier and you will receive an email informing you of it's expected arrival. Courier tracking code is available from My Account > Transactions.
  4. Normal Delivery time is expected anywhere from 5 to 7 business days.

How do I cancel my rental?

  1. Go to My Account > Rental Items. Select the instrument(s) you wish to return, then choose 'Return' from the Action drop-down box, then click the Submit button.
  2. An email form will appear for you to fill in. Submit this email and MIRA staff will be notified of your desire to cancel.
  3. MIRA staff will then contact you with further instructions.

How long do I have to return my rental?

  1. You must return your rental instrument once a rental period has ended. If an instrument is returned after 14 days of it's paid rental period ending; you will be required to pay the standard rental rate for each day the instrument was overdue from the end of the rental period. This payable item will be displayed in the your shopping cart after logging in.

Can I return my hire instrument for a credit?

  1. If an instrument is returned before the end of the rental period; no credit will be provided unless the instrument was returned at the request of MIRA.

Can I renew the hire period of my instrument?

  1. Yes. You can extend the hire period from 1 month up to 12 months at any time by logging into My Account > Rental Items.
  2. Click the checkbox of the applicable instrument(s) and the choose period drop-drown box for the amount of months you wish to extend the hireage.
  3. Click the Submit button to add the items to the sites shopping cart.
  4. Process the shopping cart fully with payment and your items within 'My Account > Manage Instruments' will now show an extended expiry date.

How can I return the instrument for service / repair?

  1. You are entitled to one annual service after you renew your contract for another annual or school year contract.
  2. Repairs and Maintenance due to misuse is available at anytime but will be charged back to the contract holder.
  3. Go to My Account > Rental Items. Select the instrument(s) you wish to return, then choose 'Return for Repair' from the Action drop-down box, then click the Submit button.
  4. An email form will appear for you to fill in. Submit this email and MIRA staff will be notified of your desire to return the instrument.
  5. MIRA staff will then contact you with further instructions.
